About me

I’m Sabrina, a compassionate and dedicated Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers. I also hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and am currently completing my registration with the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association. With over 20 years of experience, I have had the privilege of supporting youth, adults, and families through life’s challenges. My practice focuses on helping individuals navigate a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, emotional regulation, parenting, and relationship struggles. I also have experience working with neurodiverse individuals, including those with ADHD and Autism.

I believe in every individual’s innate capacity for resilience and growth. My commitment is to support and guide you as we navigate your concerns and work together to achieve your goals. Taking a holistic approach, I consider the interconnected aspects of your life—biological, psychological, social, environmental, and cultural—both past and present, to better understand and address your unique journey.

I combine evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, emotionally focused therapy, mindfulness, narrative, internal family systems, and somatic approaches with a humanistic perspective to offer personalized support. Whether you're navigating overwhelming stress, life transitions, or addressing deeper emotional wounds, my mission is to guide and support you along the way as you work toward healing, growth, and more meaningful personal connections.

If we determine I am not the right fit to meet your counselling needs, I will refer you to one of my partner counsellors!

I'm a proud mother of 3 (ages 24, 18, 15).  As a mother, a friend, a daughter, a student, and an employee... I understand how difficult it can be to balance all the different roles we hold in life, not to mention what we carry forward from our past.

Being human means I've experienced joy, sadness, love, loss, and trauma myself. Oh boy, don't get me started on the challenges of parenting. The saying "fake it until you make it" was sometimes my best survival tool - but wow did parenting ever throw me into the deep end of personal growth!

There are times we seek support from close friends and family, and other times when reaching out to a counsellor is the right thing to do. I understand it can feel uncertain and even scary.

I would be honoured to walk that path with you.
